About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Surrey, BC on a full-time basis.

The Inside Sales Representative is joining a small team based out of Surrey, BC, and will play a major role in developing the Pinnacle brand. They will also work regularly with an experienced team from the Calgary office, who will provide training and mentorship. You will be responsible for aiding in the procedures of sales, including helping the Outside sales team with quotes and order processing. As well as other internal tasks revolved around Sales support.

More specifically, your essential duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Following through the processing of sales and/or quotes for the Outside Sales team as required.
  • Taking walk-in and over the phone orders from customers
  • Developing internal sales processes to streamline the company's ability to maximize efficiency
  • Actively representing the organization effectively within the industry - exhibiting at, and attending, relevant trade
  • shows and industry events, proactively networking and consistently maintaining brand presence in the market
  • Achieving sales goals and forecasts

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you must have 3+ experience in outside sales. Experience in the sales related to the drilling, manufacturing, and construction industries would be considered an asset. If you have less than 3 years in a highly relevant sales setting or industry, you would also be considered.

In addition, the following experiences and skills would be critical for the role:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and ERP softwares
  • Proven record of developing markets for a range of products, developing client relationships and loyalty, and providing exceptional customer support
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the full sales cycle

As our ideal candidate, you are a great communicator, and enjoy engaging with customers and learning continuously. You take responsibility for learning about product lines, and essential systems associated with managing inventory and shipping orders. You take initiative and aspire to grow into within Pinnacle Drilling.
