Digital Marketing Specialist - Mergers & Acquisitions

The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist - Mergers & Acquisitions role is a dynamic position that will give you exposure to many different portfolios within the M&A department and companies at Jonas. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, will begin work on supporting the growth of our email campaigns and various other digital marketing efforts. You will be responsible for helping with strategy, briefing, and analysis behind these marketing campaigns while maintaining objectives. You will be working deeply with a marketing automation service (Hubspot), including setting up nurture series, doing database work, loading and segmenting lists, setting up email sends, and setting up landing pages.

The job responsibilities include :

Working closely with the Marketing Manager - Mergers & Acquisitions to develop and deploy email campaigns that drive compelling user experiences and improve conversion to meet company goals.

Help influence the roadmap for future digital marketing campaigns

Responsible for creating, implementing, testing, analyzing, and monitoring our email marketing campaigns. This will include creating and modifying email templates in our email management tool.

Managing the overall performance of our campaigns to improve conversion from potential B2B relationships to closed acquisitions.

Coordinate A/B testing of various email campaign features (i.e. subject lines, email body, send times, etc.).

Analyze campaign results and communicate campaign performance post-launch and present findings.

Troubleshoot and provide support for issues that arise with campaign execution or ad-hoc requests as required.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and excellent academic record required

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization. We're looking for a solid team player who's also an independent thinker

Adobe Creative Suite familiarity would be considered an asset (Photoshop, Adobe Spark, etc.)

Strong organizational skills - you do not let the details slip and have amazing attention to detail

Endless curiosity and personal commitment to learning and development

A self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion
