As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the management of sales in the Oil Sands Region for the Wear piping product group, and other consumable wear products, managing existing business and prospecting the client base seeking new business opportunities.

You will emphasize working with the customer and product development to develop new products. You will thrive on collaboration and will coordinate the involvement of the manufacturing and product development teams in assisting sales personnel as required.

With our customer satisfaction of the highest levels as a key driver, you will undertake product wear monitoring at customer sites and complete customer reports. You will be involved with client engagement and seek opportunities where possible to visit Mine sites and industry partners.

As a data-driven individual, you will develop and maintain systems for measuring market share and sales forecasts. With your commercial acumen, you will take an active role in developing the region's sales budgets and achieving budgeted gross margin and targeted sales for the region.

Key Technical Criteria

  • Engineering, Mining, or Trade background and experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven sales ability incorporating marketing techniques, implementing strategic initiatives, operating plans, and budgets
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, time management, and report writing skills, combined with sound product knowledge
