Reporting to the Director Sales and Business Development, the position of Sales Representative is responsible for leadership of all sales related activity within their assigned areas and customers.

  • Visit retail grocery on an established call schedule to ensure superior execution of core program fundamentals such as: distribution, planograms, pricing, & merchandising;
  • Increase sales volume & objectives by brand and category for designated accounts within your territory;
  • Secure retailer support for promotional programs;
  • Ensure prominent product placement and visibility, and maintain agreed store Plan-O-Grams with the correct product listings and facings;
  • Work with distributors and internal sales to identify opportunities for sales development of Riviera products;
  • Implement promotional strategies negotiated by major accounts for each client while ensuring maximum visibility;
  • Maintain a high level of competitor knowledge in terms of products, pricing, discounts, promotions and sales;
  • Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers;
  • Maintains inventory control to avoid out of stocks and overstocks.


  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • (3) years of sales experience in the food / consumer packaged goods industry, foodservice, or a related industry experience;
  • Excellent presentation skills combined with strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Highly organized and self-motivated;
  • Knowledge of the MS Office Suite's IT tools;
  • Valid Full Driver’s license and safe driving record required.
