Reporting to the Proposal Compliance Manager, the Proposal and Marketing Coordinator will collaborate using technical and creative skills to plan, develop, and produce clear and compelling proposal submissions. Using strong attention to detail and organizational skills, the Proposal and Marketing Coordinator will distill complex submission requirements into a clear set of tasks and responsibilities. They will assist with Marketing and Communications initiatives and special projects. They will apply a collaborative drive by leveraging strong relationships with professionals across the company, elevating the quality of work overall. This position is available either in the Carmacks Calgary or Nisku office.

What is the role?

  • Delivery of compliant, accurate, effective and professionally produced proposals within client defined time frames;
  • Leading, developing and writing of proposal sections;
  • Leveraging project management skills to define and manage the proposal response plan, section assignments, and schedule;
  • Organizing and actively lead proposal status meetings;
  • Coordinating and reviewing / editing proposal input from a variety of stakeholders;
  • Responsible for document control activities;
  • Creating and maintaining an up to date library of resumes, project profiles, presentations and photos while following brand standards;
  • Creating presentations and other marketing collateral as required;
  • Working closely with key stakeholders on concept and messaging maintaining brand consistency in line with global corporate standards at all times;
  • Assisting to coordinate ongoing marketing activities;
  • Assisting with reviewing internal and external documents for content, grammar, and formatting; and
  • Supporting business development and strategic initiatives (events, presentations, marketing materials and website updates), as required.

Qualifications

What do we value?

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a related role;
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in business, marketing, communications would be considered an asset;
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team effectively with tight deadlines and short-time frames in high-pressure environments;
  • Capacity to work the necessary hours in order to achieve client deadlines;
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Possess detailed knowledge of proposal and marketing procedures, work processes, and tools;
  • Exceptional writing skills, as well as superior proofreading skills;
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills;
  • Keen eye for detail and document layout skills (design experience with Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset); and
  • Graphic design experience and an eye for design is considered to be an asset.
