The Marketing Specialist position is well suited for someone who enjoys a mix of process and project work, and likes working with multi-functional and external resources to build the business. You will work closely with the multi-functional Category Business Team (,Sales, Finance, Supply, Logistics, etc.) to deliver business results across a range of brands. P&G is looking for a temporary full-time Marketing Specialist to join our Brand Management Team in August 2022 (6-month contract).

The Marketing Specialist not only leads and executes business building projects, but is also a category expert in business process which enables the team and businesses to run smoothly. The Marketing Specialist will play a key role in managing the day to day category priorities. An ability to "flow to the work" depending on the needs of business will be required. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys a mix of project and process work, and likes working with multi-functional and external resources with a desire to build the business.

Key Responsibilities: Business Operations and Planning - including things like briefing local creative agency, consumer sampling ownership, instore demo's, rating and review ownership, creating and managing instore marketing tools, coupon creation and management, budget management & stewardship, and brand initiative specific projects.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:

Priority Setting - Must be able to prioritize effectively in order to keep on top of multiple tasks.

Attention to Detail - Must have the ability to superbly manage all of the details within a project in order to deliver winning plans to market. Attention to detail is especially required for managing budgets and critical path for projects.

Thinking & Problem Solving - A proven ability to integrate data and intuition in order to deliver brilliant business decisions. This role will require the ability to identify issues early in a project and proactively recommend solutions. It will also require the ability to overcome obstacles and complete tasks with the objective of moving the business forward.

Working well with Others - The success of this role relies heavily on building and sustaining outstanding working relationships with multi-functional partners. Must have the ability to proactively bring together the right people with the right information at the right time. Ability to establish effective networks with others and work collaboratively to deliver the business goals.


Bachelor's Degree preferred

Strong written and verbal communication and problem solving skills are necessary for this position

The successful candidate will eventually work with minimum supervision and therefore must be both responsible and reliable.
