Opportunity summary: As the HR Manager, you will manage the overall general administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function. You will serve as the employee champion, managing multi-functional HR Department including compensation, employment, benefits, training, safety and health and employee relations, Additionally, you will develop talent strategies to increase workforce diversity, optimize core and pivotal talent, and ensure a robust talent pipeline for the future.

  • Foster a continuous learning environment through developing and improving the knowledge and skills of the organization, including analyzing training needs, determining how to meet the training needs, as well as coaching and mentoring future leaders
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and Provincial Laws.
  • Develop and continually improve the safety and health processes for the facility and compliance with regulations
  • Oversee budget expense management and adjustments to align with business goals
What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree HR Management or related business degree
  • 5 to 7 years of experience as HR Generalist in complex and manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and Talent Management Systems (TMS)
  • Ability to investigate and assess employee conflicts objectively and solve such issues using a variety of methods and tools, including coaching and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of: business acumen, consulting, systems thinking, data analysis, job design and project management in a human resources role and structure
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, recognize trends, and identify systemic approaches to solving problems in a fast-moving, constantly changing environment
  • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Possess strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
