As the Field Marketing Specialist in Canada, you will be responsible for executing marketing programs to drive engagement across key prospecting accounts and regions in the Canadian market supporting pipeline acceleration, account engagement and growth.

Working closely with the Canadian Country Marketing Manager, the role will require proven ability to execute programs with attention to detail. You will support in all elements of planning, execution, tracking and follow-up of local marketing activities and campaigns and work collaboratively and cross-functionality across sales and marketing.

As part of the Canadian Marketing Team, you will:

Interlock with regional sales executives to ensure ongoing engagement on marketing activities; attend and participate in regular sales weekly calls to provide updates and motivate action with regards to pre and post event communications and marketing-driven campaigns

Be a contact for Canadian sales teams and marketing stakeholders providing regular bi-directional communication to all on program status and results.

Own end to end event logistics for regional events and trade shows, including all sponsorship deliverables, staff schedules, event briefing documents, speakers, event communications and promotions, ensuring events are executed flawlessly.

Ensure event follow up communication, lead list uploads, thank you emails, and leads are tagged appropriately in Salesforce.

Research, plan and maintain the VMware Canada event calendar including 3rd party conferences, VMware led virtual and in-person events and regional hospitality field events

Evaluate event campaigns impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment
