The Sales Specialist acts as business owner for assigned vendor partner lines and is accountable for achievement of vendor specific revenue growth, profitability, rebate objectives and quality service metrics. Identifies, understands and communicates vendor partner's needs and strategic objectives. Develops and executes business plans, utilizes internal and external resources and tools to accomplish strategic plans while balancing vendor's needs and goals with Tech Data's.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED :

Recruit, enable and grow new re sellers while maintaining relationships with existing re sellers (25%)

Respond to internal and external inquiries within the specified SLA (25%)

Develop, maintain and work pipeline (20%)

Achieve KPIs that support corporate initiatives including monthly sales goals, customer breadth, renewal, rebate and profitability objectives (15%)

Communicates and drives vendor partner business strategy and GTM strategy (10%)

Business reviews, reporting, presentations (5%)

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions:

Experience:

3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree with University Degree Field of Study

Technical/Associates Degree preferred.

Other Education / Certifications:

Technical/Associates Degree

Working Conditions:

Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.

Some travel required.

Frequent Travel Required

  • A solid understanding of customer success best practices and methodologies
  • Proven software experience and awareness of Cisco solutions (i.e. Security and Services)
  • The ability to collaborate easily with partner executives on go-to-market plans that result in the over achievement of quarterly goals & objectives
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to help partners examine metrics to ensure the utmost customer experience
  • Robust mentoring skills to help enable partners drive industry-leading renewal rates and generate new sales opportunities
