As our Marketing Specialist, you'll be a member of the team that leads marketing strategy and planning and you'll report to the Director, Marketing Business Partners. You'll play a significant role in supporting the planning, development and implementation of member-centric, data-driven marketing initiatives and campaigns that provide our members with products and services that help them achieve their goals. You'll help plan and execute targeted initiatives and campaigns by providing campaign development and support, preparing campaign performance reports, and liaising with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment to marketing plans and business objectives.

What you'll get to do:

  • Develop effective marketing plans and solid creative briefs for integrated campaigns and adhoc or automated emails that are grounded by member insights and driving business results
  • Execute initiatives that take into account member and employee experiences ensuring all internal and external assets are clear, transparent and simple to understand.
  • Liaise with our Enterprise Analytics team to coordinate campaign lists and reports
  • Support the Business Partner team by coordinating marketing campaigns, writing staff communication, reporting, gathering ongoing feedback and making recommendations for change
  • Work with internal or external creative teams using an established go-to-market process to develop marketing campaigns
  • Represent Marketing on cross-functional committees by acting as a champion for the member and providing input on how to improve member processes and drive results
  • Actively lead or participate in campaign planning meetings to ensure effective launch and delivery of campaign initiatives
  • Analyze and compile data, create marketing reports and provide insights and recommendations based on the collected data

Who are we looking for?

  • Four to six years' marketing, sales or communications experience that hold an element of campaign management experience including email marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree or a diploma requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study.
  • Proven experience writing creative briefs for various channels and managing a production process
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly with Excel
  • Able to navigate a CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to build and foster relationships and work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, exercise good judgement in problem solving and decision making
  • Strong communication, writing, presentation and listening skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
