Working with the agency directors or independently, the Sr. Account Manager is responsible for any or all aspects of the development and delivery of a project including the planning, estimating, scoping, scheduling, and ongoing management of projects. This Sr. Account Manager will interact directly with clients, suppliers, and agency team members on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A minimum of 5 years advertising agency experience and a track record of managing projects in a fast-paced, multiple-deadline driven environment
  • The candidate is a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and professional presentation
  • Initiative and an ability to anticipate client needs and identify potential problems is a definite asset
  • Expert attention to detail skills and be able to manage the demands of this deadline-oriented industry
  • Experience managing budgets accurately and efficiently
  • Experience in client and project management and scheduling daily tasks
  • Experience in building relationships with clients is necessary
  • Experience with media planning and implementation is a definite asset
  • The candidate must also have a working knowledge of the creative and production processes for print and broadcast advertising and communication
  • Experience in SEO, SEM, and Digital and Social Media campaigns is an asset
  • Experience and knowledge in leading website projects (with the development team)

Candidate Qualifications Overview:

  • University and/or College Education in related field
  • Minimum 5 years advertising agency experience
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
  • Website project management is an asset
  • Tourism, Real Estate, and Casino marketing experience is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Sales experience is an asset
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel) for Mac
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle is required
  • Located in the Ottawa area or be willing to relocate
