Within BTS Digital, the Product Innovation team specializes in crafting highly creative self-paced digital learning experiences that are sold to many of the world's leading organizations. We create impact through high creativity, meaningful design and powerful storytelling.

BTS is looking for a Graphic Designer and Platform Specialist for our Product Innovation team. Our team focuses on developing cutting-edge, digital learning products to serve our international clients.

This position will require work in two areas.

Graphic and UX design

Design engaging and visually appealing layouts and assets for digital learning products.

Platform Specialist

You will be working with our proprietary platform to author content to create our learning products. This includes uploading content in various media, creating engaging layouts, and testing for quality assurance. Since this is a proprietary platform, we will provide the training to up-skill. Strong desire to learn new skills and an interest in user experience design and technologies is needed.

This role will work closely with senior designers and the project team from concept to final execution of a product. The successful candidate will exude agility, critical thinking, and a multidisciplinary skillset. You must have creative thinking, be innovative and a self-starter, interested in digital/mobile/online, and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that is involved in transformational digital initiatives.

Given the nature of remote work these days, the successful candidate will need to be setup to work from home and have experience working closely with remote teams.

Eastern time zone is required, and Toronto-based candidates who can occasionally come to the office are preferred, but we are open to candidates who are remotely based.


  • Work closely with senior designers and learning experience designers to conceptualize and design interactive digital learning experiences that are engaging and aligned with UX best practices, accessibility guidelines, and brand identity.
  • Creatively and accurately convert content from a source document and wireframes to the platform through content authoring and configuration.
  • Work independently to support development of projects from inception through deployment.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members, internal and external, to drive successful completion of projects.
  • Ensure the deliverables meet all quality parameters.
  • Ability to rationalize and present design decisions.
  • Operate cross-functionally with a wide range of individuals, including project managers, technical teams, designers, and with an international production team in multiple time zones.


  • Diploma or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 0-3 years' experience in a digital environment, open to a new graduate with relevant internship in graphic design.
  • Working with Adobe Illustrator and XD, interest in learning new tools and technologies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A good understanding of core design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
  • Interest in learning about, and/or understanding of: the digital landscape, user-centered design, client-focused solutions, visual design as it applies to the online medium, principles for mobile and desktop design.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
