Employment Status: Full-time permanent

Compensation: $88,640 - $110,800 per annum

We are looking for a Community Branch Manager for our Okotoks and High River branches.

Reporting to the District Manager, you'll lead two branches and the day to day operations at each location. As a Community Branch Manager, you have a passion for leading people and can empower your teams to ensure the branches and members are successful. You are an innovator and can think outside the box to come up with strategies to develop business, increase productivity, and drive performance in order to meet Servus' goals and the changing demands of the fast-paced financial services industry.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Motivating and coaching employees to find opportunities to shape members financial fitness
  • Being proactive in pursuing new business opportunities
  • Monitoring and ensuring financial targets are being met or exceeded for both branches
  • Promoting referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking, and 3rd party providers
  • Adhering to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to all employees as necessary to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
  • Preparing accurate and complete documentation, processing account changes, and handling member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements

To qualify, you will need at least the following:

  • Proven success as a Branch Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive lending experience
  • 3 - 5 years of of leadership experience
  • Mutual Funds license
  • CFP/ PFP

Although not required, the following are valuable assets:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
  • Working knowledge of credit union products, policies, procedures, and operations
