Overview

Manage all aspects of National Marketing activities for the SGWS sales force covering multiple Provinces. Responsible for the design and s and execution for long- and short-term sales and executional strategies in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the Annual Operating Plan, Annual Price and Trade Objectives Track and report depletions and shipment performance through the monthly latest estimate (LE) Process
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company depletion goals in collaboration with the Business Development Teams
  • Lead and execute tender submissions with applicable liquor boards
  • Manage and collaborate with the Sales and Business Development teams on new product launches and supplier visits
  • Ensure all product pricing is compliant with supplier guidelines and profit and loss (P&L)
  • Manage and communicate all annual product allocations
  • Lead and execute sales analysis from lens of the customer, category, and competition and annual distribution thresholds
  • Lead and execute Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Conduct Marketing sales meetings to train, develop, and motivate team
  • Develop overall sales strategies for key accounts (Retail & On trade) in designated territory/region and improve distribution of product

Additional Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and control expenditures (Travel & Expense and Accounts & Payables) of each Market to conform to budgetary requirements and ensure both Below the Line (BTL) and Above The Line (ATL) spends are compliant with supplier guidelines and P&L
  • Responsible for leading collaborative working relationship with sales and analytics teams to build monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives and validation reports to ensure targets are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely
  • Measure the track the performance of dedicated brands, and ensure they are compliant with all retail and on-premise guidelines
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of products and their key features and attributes; ability to execute product line strategies
  • Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles, and information
  • Advanced knowledge in Word and Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and V Lookup
  • Experience using project management skills to plan, organize, manage, and accomplish goals
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to meet goals/objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities on tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality output
  • Ability to understand and manage budgets, profitability, and expenses
  • Ability to communicate enthusiasm for the product and category
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees throughout the division
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
