Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, creative and passionate Content Marketing Specialist to join our impact-driven team at BridgingTheGap Ventures.

This role is for you if you...

Love to write compelling marketing copy for email, web and other marketing platforms that drive engagement, action and sales

Are a grammar and editing whiz who champions the creation of high-quality content

Are efficient at organizing and managing multiple content flows simultaneously

Are always on top of content marketing trends and love to try new, creative ideas that resonate across generations and geographies

Believe in the power of youth leadership and want to bridge opportunity gaps to foster greater inclusion and celebrate their lived experience

Are an action-oriented lifelong learner who wants to contribute toward building a more sustainable world together

Responsibilities

Create, edit and publish compelling content for BridgingTheGap's websites (including landing pages, email captures and static pages), email campaigns and other B2C messaging to spark engagement, generate leads and drive sales

Uphold BridgingTheGap's brand voice and values are maintained, including addressing the needs and wants of various global stakeholders

Manage regular e-communications and email drip campaigns aligned with BridgingTheGap's goals

Oversee our volunteer group of content contributors-vetting, reviewing and editing their submissions before being featured on BridgingTheGap platforms

Drive traffic to BridgingTheGap's websites and other platforms as well as generate leads and sales, when applicable, by leveraging effective content and SEO strategies

Utilize web and email analytics to inform business decisions and future content strategies

Stay up-to-date on content marketing trends, including identifying and implementing effective competitor strategies that align with BridgingTheGap's standards and audience

Work closely with the BridgingTheGap team to strategize and gather feedback, as well as contribute to larger organizational goals

Qualifications

You must include a link to your portfolio demonstrating your content marketing experience within your resume in order to be considered for an interview.

Proven experience in writing effective email drip campaigns, landing pages, website copy and other B2C messaging that engages global audiences and generates leads

Proven experience editing and providing constructive feedback on user-generated content (UGC) (blogs, social media posts, Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, etc.)

Proven experience using HubSpot, Klaviyo, and/or other marketing software to create engaging, creative email campaigns with a cohesive brand style

Strong copywriting, proofreading and self-editing skills as well as impeccable grammar

Incredible attention-to-detail-rarely do errors or omissions happen

Strong communication skills, ensuring the ongoing and transparent flow of communication with fellow team members regarding project status updates, questions and feedback

Ability to effectively leverage marketing data, analytics and consumer behaviour trends to generate creative content ideas

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and easily manage multiple projects at the same time without getting overwhelmed

Ability to manage own time and perform under tight deadlines with minimal supervision

Impeccable organizational skills while also able to adjust, pivot and creatively problem-solve independently

Always takes initiative and is solution-oriented

Effectively works both independently and as part of a team, based on project needs
