Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications

Copper Mountain Mining Corporation is a TSX/ASX listed copper producer, developer and explorer in

world class mining jurisdictions. Copper Mountain's flagship asset is the 75% owned Copper Mountain

mine located in southern British Columbia near the town of Princeton. The Copper Mountain mine has a

Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications


Vancouver, BC or Toronto, Ontario. Willingness and ability to travel is required. This position provides

opportunity to work remotely or in the office providing flexibility in location and lifestyle.


Reporting to the EVP, Strategy & Corporate Development, the Manager, Investor Relations & Corporate

Communications is responsible for managing Copper Mountain Mining Corporation's Investor Relations

and Corporate Communications.

This key role provides an opportunity to work with an evolving cross functional team and play an important

role in defining the future of sustainable mining, through advancing new ideas and supporting

implementation of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Company's investor relations and corporate communications activities with the goal

of attracting and retaining investors, maximizing Copper Mountain's share value and increasing

public support and awareness.

  • Regularly communicate with institutional and retail investors as well as research analysts.
  • Draft news releases, annual reports, presentations, scripts, digital content, and other marketing


  • Work in partnership with team members to assure high-quality outbound corporate materials and

presentation elements, in line with the Copper Mountain brand.

  • Lead ESG disclosure and communication alongside the Company's Sustainability team on broad-

based internal and external communication on ESG initiatives.

  • Provide leadership on the strategic use of digital platforms, including managing social platforms

to engage in online conversations to deepen engagement, and build a social media following.

  • Manage and update the company website on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate and attend investor conferences.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education & Experience

  • 6-8 years of investor relations and corporate communications experience, with solid capital

markets knowledge.

  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Commerce or Corporate Communications; equivalent

combination of education and experience in related field of study may be considered.

  • Experience working directly with senior executives.
  • Experience speaking with analysts, investors and the media.
  • Mining experience an asset.
  • Experience with graphic and digital design an asset.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • High degree of business acumen and ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to identify key technical and business issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to take initiative, influence and work independently across different levels of the


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities under tight

deadlines and long hours periodically, when required.

  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Power Point,

Word, Excel) and ability to learn new software.
