The Job

Our marketing team in Toronto is looking for a Marketing/Proposal Manager - Building Science. The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving RFP submissions for the investigation, design and contract administration of the restoration, PCA, small project, and building envelope projects. You also will help the marketing department in establishing a marketing plan and procedure for the company.

Job Duties

  • Ensures accurate and timely proposals submissions for rehabilitation of structures and building envelope projects.
  • Prepare and update resumes, credential packages, power point presentations, and project sheets.
  • Establishes goals and directs high performing team goals
  • Guides team members through the resolution of complex problems, gives performance feedback and lead's team members career path
  • Provides strategic direction to team that aling with broader firm goals and values
  • Ensure day to day administrative tasks for Building Sciences group are completed accurately.
  • Co-operate with Marketing Manager of the company to establish the procedures and database of the Marketing Department.
  • Monitor procurement websites for any Restoration, Building Envelope, Small Project, and Physical Condition Assessment projects and distribute relevant opportunities on a daily basis.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or another related field
  • 5+ years' experience in a Consulting firm (Engineering, Architectural, Construction) or equivalent industry or within a proposal setting
  • 2+ years leading a team
  • Demonstrated practical knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project and Publisher)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign
  • Excellent oral and written communication, editing and grammar skills
  • Technical writing skills are an asset.
  • Ability to deliver high quality, accurate work with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
