We are currently looking to hire an Assistant - Integrated Marketing to join our Canadian corporate team.

The Assistant is responsible for ensuring marketing and merchandising campaigns are executed at a high level. They will work as part of the Marketing team with internal merchant, planning and commercial strategy teams on all areas related to marketing.

We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated individual with a strong ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines and a passion for providing clear and consistent communication. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and can juggle multiple projects and is motivated to ensure we are executing campaigns at a high level to meet sales and profit objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate product submissions for upcoming campaigns.
  • Review marketing proofs for accuracy and communicate changes needed.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with internal stakeholders, communicate objectives and provide feedback as needed.
  • Coordinate recaps and feedback on campaigns to review opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with entering promotions and validate approvals prior to campaigns.
  • Review product in upcoming merchandising and marketing campaigns to validate items are available for orders to be placed and follow up on non-compliant product.
  • Partner with buyers and planners to drive sales through ensuring in stock levels support upcoming marketing.
  • Work with ecommerce team to communicate key product launches and ensure items are in the workflow and boosted for launch.
  • Capture, review and share out competitive activity.
  • Coordinate PR product requests
  • Be the expert in upcoming promotions, product launches and post-campaign feedback.
  • Coordinate marketing communications/updates to the buying, planning, merchandising and commercial strategy organizations.

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with many internal stakeholders
  • Detail oriented to ensure accuracy of all marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to coordinate and analyze marketing postmortems
  • Highly competent in Microsoft office software, particularly excel
  • Self-motivated with an interest to master the position and advance within the organization
  • Experience in a retail environment is a plus.
