Overview:

  • The Digital Marketing Specialist II role develops and implements digital programs and campaigns in a supporting manner to internal partners regarding the digital execution of vendor campaigns.
  • The Digital Marketing Specialist II executes digital marketing efforts, optimizes the user experience throughout the sales cycle, increases marketing effectiveness, improves customer satisfaction and amplifies the Tech Data brand.
  • Builds brand engagement, drives qualified and relevant traffic, and derives consumer insights to help optimize strategies from online campaign performance.
  • Maintains a basic knowledge tools, principles, theories and concepts in area of professional expertise.
  • Is competent in job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.
  • Develops solutions to a wide variety of problems and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis.
  • May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance but determines best course of action to achieve results.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

  • Strategize, create, optimize, execute digital marketing campaigns, manages platforms for online promotional campaigns in diverse categories of digital implementation including web design, digital advertising, email marketing, e-merchandising, online learning, digital video, digital online broadcast (webinars and live stream), online content management and other related digital marketing areas. Creates and implements digital marketing assets and performs other marketing activities to meet business objectives and revenue goals. Manages digital content, content procurement, development, and content posting activities. (50%)
  • Creates and implements digital marketing assets and performs other marketing activities to meet business objectives and revenue goals. Manages digital content, content procurement, development, and content posting activities. (20%)
  • Maintains brand standards for Tech Data and its vendor partners. Consults with design teams for digital specifications. Reviews and edits all incoming content to ensure product consistency, spelling, pricing, promotional or launch materials meet specified requirements and parameters, translations, etc. (10%)
  • Shares best-of-class deliverables and strategies, tools and processes internationally across regions and businesses. Tracks, collects, analyzes and reports data, identifies trends and insights and evaluates results to achieve maximum ROI for on-site campaigns. Performs testing on landing pages using digital tools to measure performance. Uses audience segmentation to deliver personalized content for specific channel promotions; Identifies deficiencies, recommends improvements and identifies opportunities for enhancement. May manage outside marketing agencies and partnerships, third party provider e-commerce feeds, and vendor payment and initiative planning. (10%)
  • Optimizes and Improves strategic digital marketing activities by recommending traffic building strategies. Supports marketing in driving traffic to attract and convert new customers, gain user adoption, and increase on-line sales. Develops reporting, measures, analyzes, tests, and implements strategies to make continual improvement in digital marketing analytics. (10%)

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with Marketing or Communications Field of Study preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Other Education / Certifications: Experience: Preference of 2 years of working experience, with Bachelor's or equivalent. Has relevant experience in digital marketing and possesses basic skills or relevant to area of expertise. Has a working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, and may have intermediate experience in one or more areas of digital implementation (Email marketing, web development, online education, e-merchandising/e-commerce, analytics).

Working Conditions:
