The Manager, Community Marketing is responsible for developing, executing and monitoring strategies and campaigns across all organic social media and ambassador channels. We are looking for a detail-obsessed, dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our Marketing team and lead the growth of our digital community. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, the Manager, Community Marketing is responsible for ensuring our social media marketing efforts are executed on time, on brand and contribute to the goals of the company. The ideal candidate will be inspired and excited by discussions around sustainability and environmentalism, and passionate about making this conversation more accessible to a diverse audience. Skills in time management, strategy and communication are critical to success.

What will you be doing?

  • You will drive, evolve and execute tentree's organic social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and more
  • You will integrate tentree's ambassador platform into the holistic community marketing strategy and oversee ambassador execution alongside Marketing Coordinator
  • You will create and manage a social media content calendar that aligns with key brand goals, campaigns and initiatives
  • You will lead the sourcing and scheduling of content that reflects brand calendar and values, and assists in driving traffic, new customers and engagement
  • You will track, measure and report on all social channels and Brandbassador analytics on a weekly, and monthly basis including engagement, follower growth, web traffic, conversions etc.
  • You will effectively manage organic social and ambassador budgets in order to meet key tentree KPIs every quarter
  • You will liaise with cross functional team members in creative, content, partnerships, merchandising and more to coordinate all community logistics and ensure creative execution is on time and within budget
  • You will work closely with Influencer Marketing Specialist to ensure UGC is strategically integrated across all organic channels
  • You will manage and mentor a growing community marketing team
  • You will remain up to date on relevant social, influencer and ambassador content, changes, trends and strategies among both competitors and innovators outside of our industry


Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of organic social media experience
  • 2+ years of experience of marketing at a brand
  • Strong experience working with content scheduling and influencer platforms such as Curalate and Grin
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social platforms

  • Experience with driving results and managing overlapping social media campaigns on a variety of platforms
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other digital measurement tools
  • Working knowledge of performance marketing is considered an asset
