As part of the Talent Acquisition team and to be successful in this role, you will be responsible for sourcing quality, talented individuals to meet the needs of the organization and will play a critical role in supporting and executing the Talent Acquisition strategy. The Senior TA Specialist will participate in the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing to selection, and will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring leads across Questrade Financial Group (QFG) to gain an understanding of the best-fit applicants.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage full-cycle high volume recruitment (for departments such as Brokerage Operations, Marketing, Compliance, Fraud, Legal, etc.) from intake session through to offer stage and onboarding. This will include maintaining a pipeline of talented active and passive individuals, preparing job postings, conducting pre-screens, scheduling interviews, leading the offer and negotiation process, and assisting with onboarding tasks as required. You will maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates, including pre-screen and interview notes, debriefs, and candidate correspondence. You will stay updated on market hiring trends and technologies, and share knowledge and expertise of best practices with the Talent Acquisition team. You will create documentation on screening guidelines, interview questions and candidate assessments metrics. You will maintain tracking and/or reporting of technical talent acquisition activities.

You will act as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert and educate hiring leads on QFG's processes and industry hiring best practices. You will assist with assessing current Talent Acquisition processes within QFG, and recommend best practices, new tactics, and solutions. You will research talent pools and source hard-to-find skills. You will drive diversity of hires and provide education to hiring managers to ensure a diverse candidate slate. You will partner with our P&C Social Media & Communications Specialist to research, plan, and attend outreach events such as meet-up groups, networking and community events, etc. to enhance QFG's employer and talent brand in the industry. You will act as a cultural ambassador for QFG. You will work with People & Culture (P&C) colleagues to identify new opportunities to add value to the organization; help P&C colleagues with projects where needed. You will perform other duties as assigned.

? You have 5+ years of high-volume recruitment experience (focused on non-technical roles/business groups)

? You have a college diploma or university degree in the field of Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or other related field

? You have experience in the financial services/brokerage industry (preferred)

? You have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

? You have exceptional interpersonal skills, and are able to work with hiring leads and candidates in a professional manner

? You have experience working with recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Ceridian Dayforce, and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter

? You have strong attention to detail

? You have strong knowledge of best practices related to employer branding and candidate experience

? You are team-oriented and are skilled at working within a collaborative, virtual environment

? You have experience sourcing, attending outreach events, and creating assessment methods

? You are a continuous learner, and are eager to research and share best practices

? You have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative to provide creative solutions

? You have proven analytical abilities
