Secure AI Labs enables unprecedented security and scale permissioning and tracking sensitive data in healthcare. Our federated network allows data scientists to train predictive models and glean insights, while maintaining the privacy of the data as well as intellectual property of the analysis & code. Because data is never transferred, analysis can be conducted while data owners maintain complete ownership of the data using our Digital Rights Management (DRM)-backed infrastructure. The company is founded by researchers and professors from MIT and headquartered in Cambridge, MA.


  • Write and maintain a secure web application with a React front-end and Express backend communicating with one or more REST API services using JSON messages
  • Work with Product Owner to scope out and design functionality
  • Communicate work progress, blocking issues, and estimates to Engineering management
  • Attend Agile meetings, work to properly scope up 3-week sprints
  • Demo work progress at regular intervals
  • Maintain a usable application for short-notice demos

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing frontends and backends for web applications
  • Strong experience with React and React query
  • Strong experience with Node.js Express
  • Experience with Typescript & JavaScript
  • Experience with SCSS
  • Working knowledge of Docker
  • Knowledge of consuming REST API services

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10
  • Experience hardening web application security
  • Knowledge of running security analysis tools against a web application
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure

Salary Range

$80,000 - $100,000 USD
