DHL Express currently has an opening for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in our National Office in Brampton. This role will be reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, and will provide support, assistance and analysis in the areas of human resources specifically recruitment and selection, and project related work.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated, eager to learn and has a desire to be part of a team - someone who will enjoy an opportunity to learn about human resources day -to- day operations.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Work in collaboration with Talent Acquisition Team to complete daily tasks and projects in a professional and responsive manner
  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking various recruitment activities; assisting with the development of interview questions, and setting up and conducting pre-screens
  • Post positions on various websites both internally and externally
  • Complete reference checks for all potential new hires and communicate results to the hiring manager
  • Assist in maintaining HR communications (HR News and Announcements)
  • Assist with all recruitment activities related to our Sales team
  • Coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers

Applicant Tracking System:

  • Manage administration of our ATS (Taleo)
  • Regular reporting of Talent Acquisition metrics

Campus Recruitment:

  • Work with TA specialists to execute DHL's Campus Recruitment Strategy
  • Coordinate registration of University Job Fairs
  • Manage inventory of marketing materials for job fairs
  • Attend job fairs throughout the GTA

Qualifications - External

Do you have what it takes?

  • Post-secondary education in HR or related field
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to function in a fast paced environment, multi task requests, and adapt quickly to process and procedures
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team oriented environment
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system an asset
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
