The Opportunity

As a member of the commercial leadership team, the VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in the development and leadership of the business through its scaling journey. They will work closely with other leaders to drive strategic direction and resource allocation for the company.

Your day to day

1. Managing a team of 8+ sales people across multiple countries.

2. Define the strategy and organizational structure that will drive efficient revenue growth across the team.

3. Build a high performing enterprise sales team to cover the key markets of the region by doing strategic hiring and promoting internally.

4. Lead and support a team of direct reports by setting overall strategy, driving comprehensive territory and account planning and deal execution to achieve results.

5. Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.

6. Conduct a weekly forecast meeting with each sales team member. Coach direct reports on areas of improvement or course correction to achieve results.7. Identify initiatives as part of the value offering to differentiate Quincus solutions.

8. Optimize sales processes and procedures to scale with the business growth in volume and complexity.

9. Monitor the business impacts of initiatives and develop sales campaigns in alignment with short/long-term commercial strategies.

10. Get involved in key deals in the region at the executive level.

11. Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.

12. Be the regional leader representative for Quincus for marketing and other public events.

13. Work with the leaders in the related functions such as Delivery, Solution Consulting, SMEs, and Customer success to ensure proper support is provided to local clients.

Who you are

1. At least 15+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership, with 5+ years in a start-up environment.

2. Experienced in sales leadership at country and regional sales level.

3. Have strong communication, problem solving, organizational and delegation skills.

4. Strong leadership capability with an understanding of the different cultural challenges of the region.

5. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

6. Experience of supply chain/logistics/ transportation/E-Commerce.
