Summary:

Supported by the Senior Digital Manager, the Manager, Web is a vital member of the Digital team in the Home Services division of Enercare. The Manager, Web will be responsible for all SEO activities such as keyword strategy, web content needs, increasing organic search rankings and driving search traffic from Google and other search engines. The successful Manager, Web will be able to analyze performance dashboards and make website optimizations where necessary to maximize both customer experience and business outcomes such as lead generation and online sales. They will also collaborate with our digital agencies on content and pricing changes, CRO, IA, UX, wireframes, and local SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make recommendations for SEO optimization in collaboration with digital agency.
  • Improve organic site engagement and visits through to conversions (leads) through optimized customer journeys based on insights driven by tools such as multivariate testing
  • Collaborate with team on website content changes, page builds, customer journeys, buy flows, campaign updates, dynamic content, component, and wireframe design. This would include creating briefs for webpages including all keywords, meta tags, etc. when necessary.
  • Support lead generation & nurturing across all LOBs, and support efforts to build eCommerce capabilities targeting consumer segments that prefer to research and purchase online
  • Lead local SEO including management and updating of GMB listings, local pages, directory listings, Google Maps, etc. Local ranking management and reporting including keyword tracking, optimization and link building including local.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and ensure compliance with AODA requirements
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of digital channel best practices including content marketing, SEO, eCommerce, website accessibility and site speed optimization
  • Hands on understanding of web front-end languages (HTML 5, CSS), standards, and best practices
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and Hotjar and website optimization tools
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks and timelines
  • Familiarity with content management systems i.e. Wordpress, Drupal & Joomla
  • Understanding of search intent, purchasing behaviour/CRO and UX
  • Ability to critically analyze data, present data & provide recommendations
  • A curious and innovative mind to help initiate, lead, and manage SEO
  • Strong execution skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Adobe Photoshop and copywriting an asset
