Job description

Our client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. In addition to managing the recruitment cycle, the selected candidate will need to work with the leadership team to identify new staffing opportunities in Canada.

Responsibilities:

The Lead Recruiter is responsible for fulfilling staff augmentation requests by sourcing candidates to fill these roles.

  • Support the Account Managers with Public and Private sector staff augmentation sales activities
  • Act as a single point of contact for all staff augmentation clients
  • Support any internal requirements from hiring managers
  • Manage full requisition lifecycle (intake, sourcing, recruitment, screening, presentation, contracts, and ongoing management) and government client relationship management
  • Responsible for running full-cycle job order including receiving the job order from clients, entering job order to ATS, creating matrices, screen/elevate resume, prepare client submission per client requirement
  • Arrange/coordinate interviews, lead interview prep sessions with candidates and handle the paperwork related to work orders, POs, extensions, contracts, client contracts
  • Handle job offers (communicate to team and clients), related documentation, onboarding details and contract paperwork
  • Extension follow-ups with the client and take care of the necessary steps/process

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of overall experience as a recruiter ideally from a fast-paced Canadian staffing agency
  • At least 2 years of experience with IT roles in Canada
  • Experience responding to job requisitions from the public sector, including OPS (Ontario Public Service)
  • Familiarity with Flextrack is an asset
  • Hands on experience with an ATS system (We use CEIPAL)
  • You are a Boolean search expert
  • You have worked with LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Indeed and/or Zip Recruiter
