Job Summary:

Hebbian, Inc. is looking for world class developers who are passionate about their work and want to be involved with innovative software products. If hired, you will be working on a variety of high-end enterprise middleware projects for our clients in the financial services industry, and contributing to our patent-pending software products.

Required qualifications (please, pay attention! ):

• 4+ years of design and development experience in an enterprise environment;
• 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience;
• Knowledge of distributed systems and standards;
• Ability to create, document and execute complex technical designs;
• Ability to provide direction to team, and write and review code;
• Ability to deliver code with at least 50% fewer defects than the industry average;
• Experience developing and architecting applications using one or more of the following technologies: Java/J2EE, RESTful services, Web services, WebLogic/WebSphere or WebSphere DataPower;
• Good oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects.
• Candidates must be citizens or permanent residents of Canada and should be able to provide proof of a clean criminal record as per financial industry regulations.

Bonus Skills:

• Exposure to enterprise security and threat modeling;
• .NET development (C#) or Mobile development (native apps on iOS or Android);
• Front-end/UI technologies (HTML5/JS/related frameworks).

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as a senior developer and/or technical lead on a variety of enterprise middleware projects;
• Design, write, test, debug, maintain, and document enterprise components and applications using a variety of tools;
• Be a key individual in engineering a new enterprise platform.
