The Role:

As KEV Group continues to invest in building out a first-class sales team, we are looking to bring on a sales leader who will work closely with our CEO and senior leadership team in driving the success of our Lunchbox by SchoolCash Online program. This role will have a heavy focus on leading and coaching a team of inside sales representatives and providing the necessary day to day as well as strategic guidance to deliver on sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the CEO to establish and deliver on strategy that expands the Lunchbox offering across KEV's existing customer base and beyond
  • Leading the hiring, onboarding and training of new sales talent, ultimately ensuring that the team has the necessary headcount and skillset to meet its objectives
  • Working closely with each member of the sales team on goal setting, evaluating performance and providing coaching and guidance via listening in on calls, roleplaying, etc.
  • Refining and introducing new sales tools including scripts, positioning statements, and processes
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure a smooth and optimal customer experience
  • Establishing a regular cadence and set of performance metrics to forecast and track against targets
  • Managing sales team administration including compensation plan design and territory management

You Are/Have:

  • Experience working with a SaaS business
  • Experience in Education Technology is a strongly preferred asset
  • A background thriving in an entrepreneurial environment with an eagerness to try new things, experiment and re-prioritize quickly
  • A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets (as an individual contributor and sales leader)
  • Proven ability to drive end to end sales processes
  • Passionate about building high performing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively across levels of an organization
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

Measures of Success will include:

  • New customer acquisition and revenue per customer
  • Comprehensive sales plan in place
  • Fully staffed and trained sales team
