In this role at Photonic, you work with the marketing team to create, implement, and oversee communications programs and materials that effectively describe our value proposition, company vision, technology, and service offerings to a variety of audiences. You are a self-starter and love the combination of planning marketing programs, as well rolling up your sleeves to execute on daily deliverables. You will be comfortable diving into innovative technology, working with technical subject matter experts, and producing content for our core audiences. You're a skilled writer and you've never met a PowerPoint slide deck that you haven't somehow made better!

  • Work with product management, technical subject matter experts, and graphic designers, to design, write, and produce marketing and sales collateral, professional presentation materials, website content, and digital campaigns
  • Manage marketing materials, collateral, and the website, ensuring up to date content for a variety of audiences, including investors, partners, and customers
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and using the right internal processes
  • Work with the marketing team to develop, execute, and measure effectiveness of a results-driven, multi-channel communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction
  • Source and manage writing and design contractors and agencies to deliver marketing collateral and content marketing
  • Track effectiveness of various campaigns and implement course corrections as needed
  • Support Photonic speakers with content development and event promotion
  • Manage internal marketing knowledge base and marketing automation system
  • Participate in market monitoring and dissemination of market updates to internal stakeholders
  • Work with the team to support Photonic participation in industry events, conferences, and webinars


  • 7+ years marketing experience within the technology industry, plus an Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Storytelling abilities with superior content-generation skills. You can cut through complexity for compelling, concise, action-oriented messages.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, including writing and editing
  • Strong project and relationship management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks
  • Experience in marketing and design software, photography, and videography
  • Ability to build partnerships and effectively set up and keep relationships with internal and external clients and vendors
  • Willingness to learn the basics of quantum technologies, the company's products and services, and the market landscape
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment of successful execution of marketing assets - messaging, positioning, packaging, and competitive asset creation, and delivery
  • Outstanding teamwork skills
  • Experience working in a start-up company, working with senior leadership, scientists, engineers, and other team members
