Graphic Designer and Marketing Technician

Term Full-Time

ASAP to August 31, 2022


Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Marketing; this position is responsible for the corporate identity of the College of the Rockies. This responsibility includes communications, advertising, marketing, public relations, logo usage and institutional branding. Specifically, this position advises, conceptualizes and develops graphic advertising designs, displays, brochures, posters, and other publications.


  • Two years of post-secondary education in Graphic design
  • A bachelor's in graphic design and or formal coursework in marketing and communications would be considered an advantage
  • Minimum of two years, up to and including three years. This should include one year of graphic design and layout.
  • Two to three years related experience in a Post-Secondary Institution, or Media Services, Graphic Design or Communication and Marketing Department; Experience in prepress production; Working knowledge of advertising processes including buying and placement of advertising in print, radio, and electronic formats is desirable
