Our flagship product, the dcbel home energy station, is a small wall mounted device that gives everyone ownership over their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EV and home, unlocking their EV’s battery for backup power (V2H), and optimizing the energy flow between their solar panels, EVs, backup battery and the grid.

The dcbel Marketing team is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented specialist to take ownership of events from ideation and planning to running the live event and post-evaluation. You are someone that takes a creative approach to audience engagement and is fueled by the idea of organizing a range of events, from multi-million-dollar booths at the world’s biggest tech conferences to intimate community get togethers. In this role, you will work closely with our Customer Experience Lead and various departments to create memorably different live experiences that meet business objectives and introduce the world to the dcbel brand.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate dcbel’s annual event calendar (in-person & virtual):

  • Research event sponsorships and how to maximize on their return;
  • Coordinate all event assets including booth design, budget, logistics, shipping, invoicing and material handling;
  • Help develop game plan for each event with recommendations on how to reach the right audience and increase engagement;
  • Do a post event audit to track what worked & what did not;
  • Work with departments to collect requirements and identify the best platforms/conferences that support the goals of dcbel and maximize its investment;
  • Manage relationships and budget with external suppliers supporting commercial events & tradeshows;
  • Negotiate sponsorships;
  • Event budget reporting;
  • Participate in the creative process of campaign creation and event promotion;
  • Coordinate suppliers and troubleshoot at events;
  • Assist the team with day-to-day marketing activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in an event coordinator role;
  • Self-motivated, flexible and the ability to work on many projects at one time;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on the details;
  • Collaborative and enjoy working as a team;
  • Creativity and solid analytical skills;
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in Google Analytics;
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications a plus.
