The Field Marketing Specialist - Event/Activations (FMS) is responsible for aiding in the planning and execution of Red Bull's field marketing initiatives, in an effort to bring local relevance to our global brand. Owned (Red Bull titled/branded) events, supported events, partnerships and other consumer activations will need to be prioritized and executed based on the requirements of that region and with the direction of the Field Marketing Manager (FMM), the FMS will also support the Event Vehicle program within the region, alongside the FMM. The FMS will drive awareness and consumption of Red Bull, and deliver an outstanding Red Bull experience to consumers through every event/activation in the field.

SPORT & CULTURE MARKETING

  • Implement a regional sport & culture marketing plan
  • Have an in-depth understanding of regional sport & culture landscape, trends and opportunities that exist across the region that will lead to business growth
  • Create and implement a regional marketing plan that devises how to grow the business across their region through key partnerships and 3rd party events/activations
  • Project management; create and deliver Red Bull branded sport & culture events within the region
  • Establish relationships with Opinion Leaders and influencers who are credible scene leaders in aspects of sport & culture across the region. Give wings to great ideas and innovation
  • Create and maintain a strong connection within media in the region

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Work alongside HQ specialists in both Marketing and Sales to best leverage regional and national initiatives in the field resulting in positive impression and experience for the consumer
  • Develop a strong business plan with the support of the Field Marketing Manager that pays into the business, developing brand love and reach
  • Support all programming across the regional field marketing team, including Consumer Collecting and collegiate marketing initiatives
  • Effective budget management and forecasting for regional events, activations and travel

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of event marketing experience
  • Proven background in negotiation, partnerships, and budget management
  • Excellent understanding of sports and culture landscape within the region, involvement in both
  • Strong written, presentation and verbal skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Strong leadership, initiative and communications skills
  • Ability to meet strict and demanding deadlines
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills, solutions based
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • University or college graduate, ideally with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Events Management
  • Travel up to 50%
