POSITION OVERVIEW


Reporting to the Marketing, Communications Manager, the Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for identifying and prioritizing analytics requirements from the marketing team, conducting analysis and supporting different marketing stakeholders, and designing core metrics that serve as the source of truth for the team’s efforts and KPIs

 

This is a full-time, permanent position, in accordance with the policies that are in effect at Alvéole.


Start Date: October 1st 2021 at the latest, can start earlier if available

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  •  Act as the main point of contact for any analysis and reporting, identifying and defining requirements for reporting, analysis, and insight in collaboration with the Sales team, Tech team and marketing leaders; including Demand Generation, Customer Success and Product teams.

  • Perform in-depth analysis to understand and optimize key levers of our marketing funnel (acquisition, engagement, retention, and expansion)

  • Manage database structure and health for all of our key marketing systems (Hubspot, Google Analytics, Data studio) 

  • Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic and tactical decision-making for key marketing initiatives, mapped to the buyer journey

  • Dive deep into data to identify trends and report on KPIs, including growth and improvement opportunities, and areas of most impact in support of Alvéole’s growth

  • Ownership over marketing metrics, engagement and performance analytics and reporting (i.e. Hubspot dashboards, campaign tagging, GA, email marketing, events, etc.)

  • Monitor campaigns and lead flow to help our team optimize performance across programs and channels

  • Make recommendations that enhance our reporting capabilities and ability to scale

  • Lead preparation of inputs for marketing quarterly business reviews (planning and forecast analysis tied to business and team KPIs)



SKILLS REQUIRED


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business intelligence, marketing or a related field

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Marketing Reporting and/or Data Analytics role

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B space 

  • Experience with Hubspot (required)

  • Experience in managing, cleaning and optimizing large databases of contacts 

  • Ability to communicate a deeper understanding of customers and prospective customers for the benefit of all stakeholders

  • High level of autonomy, strong organizational and prioritization skills and a sense of responsibility

  • Proactiveness to improve processes and BI tools

  • Ability to work in collaboration with different stakeholders

  • Bilingual, French and English (written and spoken)
