JOB SUMMARY


The Product Owner supervises the development, delivery, maintenance, and support of our digital products, with the goal to drive strong adoption and usage among patients, consumers and pharmacy owners. The product owner is responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into clear, actionable items, and working closely with development teams, software engineers, business leaders, operations teams and external partners to deliver the best end-user experience.


This specific position pertains to our eCommerce platform.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Lead the initial setup and maintenance of the BigCommerce platform with support of external agencies and internal partners




  • Oversee the setup and deployment of individual Banner branded e-Commerce sites




  • Lead the UX / UI aspects of the platform (navigation, user experience, layout, content display, conversion tools, etc.)




  • Participate in daily standups and all agile-related meetings with McKesson technology and other stakeholders across the business




  • Maintain the product backlog in partnership with McKesson technology and other stakeholders




  • Create, groom, and prioritize user stories including writing and updating story descriptions and acceptance criteria




  • Contribute to the product roadmap




  • Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on all stories, provide feedback and / or accept the story to be pushed to production site




  • Key contributor to various workstreams, including platform maintenance, platform improvements, catalogue implementation and automation, and marketing of the platform




REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS




  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience




  • Knowledge of the agile process & associated tools (JIRA, confluence, etc.)




  • Story writing and backlog maintenance, grooming, and prioritization




  • Knowledge of IT / digital systems, processes, and terms




  • Proficiency in graphic design / UX and process design




  • Knowledge of UX design programs to make working mockups / prototypes (Adobe XD)




  • Knowledge of graphic design programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)




  • Knowledge of the business / the independent business mode




  • Project management experience preferred




  • Bilingualism (French and English).
