The Brand Manager – Gastroenterology will be an integral member of the Pendopharm Marketing team, helping to drive the growth of our prescription products. The candidate will work closely with the Commercial Director, the sales manager as well as the other brand managers and surrounding stakeholders to:



  • Develop and implement strategic and operational plans for the assigned brands to exceed market share and sales goal

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gain understanding of market, competition, and customers to uncover commercial insights and develop a sound strategic plan

  • Develop and Implement messaging, tools and activities as per plan

  • Be responsible of the brand P&L, efficiently planning expenses and proactively finding profitability enhancement measures and actions

  • Set clear metrics, measure return on investment ( ROI) and readjust as necessary

  • Establish brand forecast in collaboration with business analyst

  • Strategize and collaborate with business intelligence specialist to develop market research, and interpret the results

  • Contribute to raise innovation level of marketing at Pendopharm


This role may also be involved in evaluation market opportunities and could eventually be asked to launch new specialty brands. It would involve working collaboratively with business development, scientific affairs to get the right product & ensure readiness for the launch



  • Event organization and management

  • Organize consultancy meeting and other key events with customers

  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Coordinator to plan conference

  • Develop all promotional activities & tools for congresses

  • Collaborate with medical department & coordinate training

  • Develop sound medical arguments & required training, in collaboration with medical team, for sales force execution

  • Present and train on marketing plan and tools to sales representatives



PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS



  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience in an innovative pharmaceutical company for prescription drugs or medical device

  • 2 years experience in either: sales and/or market analysis and/or market access

  • 3 years experience as a Product or Brand Manager


EDUCATION


University Degree in Marketing/Business or Science


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES



  • Strategic thinker, excellent team player, displays leadership, results oriented and sales driven.

  • Solid background in marketing, analytics and/or sales

  • Strong communication skills in both oral and written

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and strong sense of accountability

  • Efficiency with Excel, Word, Powerpoint.

  • Bilingualism is a requirement (verbal and written)
