Position Summary

Do you have experience in the agricultural industry? Are you quick to make connections and comfortable meeting new people? The Eagle Builders team is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced agricultural professional to join our Business Development team.

Established in 2000, Eagle Builders is a family owned and operated company, located in Blackfalds Alberta. We are leaders in precast concrete and proudly serve all over Western Canada. We manufacture precast for industrial, commercial, agricultural, and civil infrastructure and have built an outstanding name in the construction industry. Our dedicated team has grown to 400+ full-time employees.

Job Description

  • Establish working relationships with new clients in the agriculture industry
  • Maintain a computerized customer and prospect database
  • Follow up and respond to sales enquires by email, telephone, and personal visits
  • Approach and go after existing company leads
  • Gain new potential customers by using various forms of communication and cold calling
  • Present our product and services in front of large groups of people
  • Plan plant and site location tours to potential clients
  • Know about future projects and make connections accordingly
  • Attend networking events to make new connections and leads
  • Communication with project managers, coordinators and estimators to ensure successful outcomes of each project


  • 5 years' experience in agriculture/farming and construction
  • Solid understanding of the agricultural industry
  • Exceptional public speaking skills
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to take on and complete multiple tasks efficiently
  • It is required that you be readily available with minimal notice
  • The ability to travel and conduct work outside of an office setting
  • Meet tight deadlines while ensuring work is detailed and correct
  • This person must be proficient with MS office and learning new computer software
  • A valid class 5 drivers' licence and acceptable driver's abstract
  • Respect company truck by keeping it clean, organized and well maintained
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday
  • Minimum 44-50 hours per week, and must be flexible
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with the attention to detail
Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates.
