The role:

The Enterprise Sales Account Executive is a senior individual contributor who will be working closely with sales leadership to prospect and close net new logo enterprise accounts in the professional testing and assessment market.

The things you'll do:

  • Coordinate entire sales process from prospecting and demand creation to close and activation
  • Build an internal network of stakeholders and develop key relationships within prospect accounts
  • Work closely with the RFP team in planning, writing/editing, and delivering RFI/RFP (Request for Information or Request for Proposal) responses in assigned territory
  • Manage prospect expectations and contribute to a high level of prospect satisfaction during the sales process
  • Create and execute territory plan and strategy for closing net new business to meet or exceed quota
  • Continuously improve sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify problems and bring solutions where and when required
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Track and report information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity to effectively position product and service offerings and overcome objections when presented
  • Create and deliver presentations at trade conferences across the US and internationally to drive thought leadership and brand position (virtually or in person)
  • Collaborate with marketing to establish successful differentiation programs
  • Other relevant projects as needed

The experience & abilities you'll need:

  • At least 10 years experience in consultative selling in a complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers in our market (certification, assessment, credentialing, licensing, and other testing outside of Higher Ed and K-12)
  • Proven experience prospecting; willing to cold call as necessary
  • Naturally tenacious with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills in order to creatively meet the needs of the prospective clients using Meazure Learning's offerings
  • Independent and self-motivated toward high activity; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent writing and messaging skills to position solutions through succinct, compelling, well-written and descriptive approaches
  • Strong presenter with the ability to connect with small and large groups
  • Proven ability to analyze and synthesize market needs and other information and convert it into actionable plans, requirements, and business cases
  • Willing to cover multiple time zones (targets will be based on vertical, not geographical territory)
