We are looking for a self-motivated, energized and articulate team player that will be an integral member of the Marketing team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing & Branding, the Social Media Coordinator will support the overall social media strategy and key marketing calendar initiatives. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's social media content calendar across six social platforms through both visual and written content, to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales for Chatters. The Social Media Coordinator will proactively engage in behaviors that align with Chatters Style Happy culture of being bright, being bold, and being you.

A Little About the Role:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing & Branding you will be responsible for the following:

Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Marketing & Branding to build out campaign and annual strategies for managed channels in alignment with brand image.

Conduct research, identify relevant material to interest public in stores and services.

Research and use top social networking platforms to maintain familiarity with them and current means and methods of connecting with people for the purpose of promoting company products and services.

Work with Internal teams to:

o Obtain information, ideas and understanding.

o Obtain business planning information from Chatters necessary to ensuring social media communication supports company goals.

o Share information about Chatters social media presence.

o Support store needs and provide updates.

Partner cross-functionally to build high quality UGC (user generated content) for campaigns and evergreen content. Monitoring and organizing organically tagged content on Instagram, as well as getting permission for reposting.

Owning Instagram Live and other Live social based event strategies, partnering with Brand Partners to schedule, plan, and execute.

Content development, scheduling and posting on all owned social media channels, which include but is not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Build and develop monthly posting calendars in alignment with overall brand strategy with appropriate posting cadence across all platforms.

Work closely with Sr. Manager, Marketing & Branding to monitor sentiment, trends, current news across all social media channels to inform content planning.

Creating and sharing engaging visual and written content to support social strategy and in alignment with brand marketing initiative. Content that builds meaningful connections and encourages existing and potential customers to choose Chatters' products and services.

Pulling weekly, monthly and campaign analytics for managed channels and adjusting content strategies based on performance analysis.

Identifying new and future opportunities for community engagement and brand loyalty across all Chatters owned social media channels.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Chatters brand.

Continuously monitor social media to ensure Corporate Image and reputation remain strong.

Building out and presenting monthly social media reporting on all social platforms

Consistent engagement with followers, non followers, brand partner pages, industry pages etc., on a daily basis across all social media platforms.

Consistent engagement with Malls, Shopping Centres and Chatters employees on a weekly basis across all social media platforms.

Respond in a timely fashion to customer service issues/contacts online.

  • 5 Years Experience in a social media and/or Digital Marketing Role
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Extensive knowledge on all social platforms & applications and latest social & industry trends
