Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a team-oriented, results-driven Marketing Administrator to join our growing team in Edmonton, Alberta. We are seeking an individual with career aspirations in the field of marketing, and strong organizational skills. The candidate will be accountable to support the marketing team's initiatives as Magna continues to grow in Canada and the United States. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator and self-starter with a great attitude and work ethic.

Accountabilities

Assist in the development of content and marketing materials with consistent branding and voice, including project stories, blog and social media posts, personnel resumes, and client prequalification packages. Manage and maintain third party auditing accounts (ISN, Avetta, etc.). Continuously collaborate with the marketing team and cross functional internal stakeholders. Provide administrative support for participation in industry events (once they resume). Additional marketing related tasks, as required.

Social Media Communications

Assist in the planning and regular releasing of social posts related to web content, project stories, news announcements, and internal/industry events and company culture building

Assist in curating content from internal sources

Gather technical content from key stakeholders and other related sources

Monitor and triage client responses and feedback to related internal stakeholders

Web Content

Contribute to website content updates, such as project stories and news

Project Story Development

Work with the Marketing Manager and operations teams to identify projects to showcase

Initiate and follow up with Client Managers and other stakeholders to round out details

Publish reviewed project stories internally and externally across a variety of mediums including documents, web and social media

Client Prequalification Activities

Monitor and manage Magna's third party auditing memberships, including ISNet and Avetta

Work with Client Managers, the marketing team members and other stakeholders to complete requests for prequalification; assemble documentation, provide required responses, meet submission deadlines

Industry Event Administration

Coordinate administrative aspects of tradeshows and events such as open houses, customer appreciation events, etc.

Marketing Materials

Facilitate the distribution of brochures, promotional gifts, other printed materials to our operations teams

Administer business card requests and order fulfillment

Internal Communications

Support internal communications initiatives such as company wide communication of business updates, newsletters and events

Required Skills and Qualifications

3+ years of administrative experience

In-progress or completed undergraduate degree related to business, communications or administration

Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders

Highly detail-oriented and resourceful

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects while maintaining a high level of quality

Strong project management, planning and problems-solving skills

A positive, ?can-do? attitude and client-focused approach

Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit

Excellent networking and relationship skills with demonstrated client management ability

Social media savvy (Especially LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)

Experience with social media in a B2B environment is an asset

Content writing experience

Deep understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Applications

SharePoint experience would be an asset

Experience working in web content management applications (WIX, Wordpress, etc.)

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be an asset (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator)
