We are looking for a customer-oriented sales leader focused on driving sales and business development efforts across EMEA. The EMEA Sales and Business Development Lead will utilize her/his seasoned skills in sales, strategy, technology, customer service, project management, and partnership development to grow our business across the region.


Primary focus:

  • Outbound sales efforts focused on expanding our pipeline for both short and long term success
  • Qualifying and responding to inbound opportunities
  • Establish and grow customer and partner relationships to deliver long-term value
  • Mine market intel and partnerships to ?fill the funnel? and close deals to exceed team goals

Success in this role requires:

  • Delivering against sales goals and financial targets
  • Building impactful cloud, SI and local vendor relationships and partnerships that help build the sales funnel and offer us a competitive advantage in delivering partner solutions.
  • Managing and owning the sales process from prospecting through contract execution
  • Consistently delivering strategic framing and storytelling capabilities
  • Customizing sales strategies to meet target partner needs
  • Collaborating with Solutions Engineers, Tech, Product, Business Development, and Delivery teams to develop robust proposals, facilitate technical deep dives, and bring deals to close
  • Project management skills, with ability to lead customer engagements, manage internal resources, and activate teams across the company
  • Proactive communication and ability to manage internal resources efficiently and effectively
  • Establishing oneself as a thought leader and strategic partner
  • Creative approaches, especially in a Covid-19 environment, to developing relationships with target partners

Candidate requirements:

  • 8+ years of outside sales for video delivery and / or media and entertainment cloud vendors
  • Expert knowledge of the field with advanced leadership skills
  • Led / oversaw sales organization with targets exceeding $20M annually
  • Experience in technology; cloud experience is a plus
  • Established relationships with decision makers and key influencers at tier one customers across the region
  • Self-starter, ability to work with ambiguity, and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing time and resources based on business impact
  • High emotional intelligence and low ego
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Ability to travel 25%+ of time (post Covid-19 restrictions)
