We have a full-time opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department .

As a member of the Creative Lab in our Marketing department, you will be an integral part of our visual communication and storytelling. Building on your past experience in graphic design, you will focus on creating quality design work to provide support to our sales teams and our key partners, which include major brands and well-known industry contributors. Through close collaboration, you will be involved with infographics, white papers and editorial projects. As a creative thinker with strong communication skills, you will thrive in understanding what various stakeholders and external clients are trying to achieve. As a considerate and no-ego doer, you will take pride in delivering strong visuals that match sometimes unclear yet demanding requests.

In this role, you will:

Conceptualize a wide range of design materials for digital and online brand campaigns, editorial projects (magazines, annual report, white papers etc.), co-branded collateral, sales materials, landing pages and assets for website and product

Convey the requests of internal and external clients through thoughtful and strategic design

Collaborate with the Marketing team and contribute to creative process with a solution-oriented mindset

Work with Creative Lab, branding experts, front/back end developers, operations, content and other professionals to bring ideas to life and come up with creative solutions

Share and explain your work, process & decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and use feedback to produce your best work

Design with the purpose to always protect and evolve the brand

Help foster a culture of design excellence, setting a consistently high bar for execution and delivery of highly engaging experiences across all customer touchpoints

Use project management tools to effectively communicate the status, needs, roadblocks of a design project

You are a great fit if you have:

A strong portfolio built during a minimum of 5 years' work experience

Strong visual storytelling and creative concepting experience

Ability to own and solve problems

Excellent organizational skills, including strong time management and file management

A healthy obsession with accuracy and strong attention to detail

Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Ability to take feedback with a positive attitude and make edits quickly

Experience working under a set of brand guidelines

Total fluency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)

A collaborative, patient and open-minded personality

Desire to keep up to date with trends and current market

Bonus points if you:

Have experience in motion design

Master XD, After Affects and Premier

Are a creative thinker who is able to navigate through ambiguity

Have a sense of humor with a positive and outgoing personality

Have a strong interest in the technology sector

This role is a full-time position based in our Richmond, BC office. Working from home is available during the Covid pandemic and we are considering hybrid solutions post-pandemic.
