Join the momentum. We are seeking a Senior Coordinator to join our Regional Marketing team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Positioning the firm for success, our Marketing team supports the growth, business-generating efforts and goals of MNP. We develop and deliver creative and strategic programs that translate the firm's objectives into market-appropriate media, messages and methodologies. This role will support our Calgary team and other niches with organizing business initiatives including webinars, trade shows and other local promotions.

YOUR ROLE @ MNP:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing campaigns, strategies and initiatives
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and the Calgary Team to organize and coordinate a variety of initiatives, including webinars, information sessions, tradeshows, round tables, and community events
  • Key player in the execution of regional marketing plans
  • Coordination of key regional campaigns and programs, both internally and externally
  • Identify and recommend improvements to marketing campaigns and tactics for efficiency
  • Work in collaboration with the internal production team to coordinate and produce collateral, thought leadership, client emails, invites and social media posts
  • Plan and execute regional events (in-person and virtual), including event management, invite distribution and list creation, follow-up reports and other support as needed
  • Perform duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients
  • Support leadership with compiling market research for planning purposes
  • Participate in initiatives to advance collaboration across functions, niches, service lines and regions
  • Assist with monthly reporting and budget tracking
  • Work with sponsoring organizations to get MNP speakers on event agendas
  • Assist in the development of creative campaign briefs and enter campaign requests into the workflow production process
  • Work along side the Senior Marketing Manager to support the Regional Managing Partner (RMP), service line and client group leaders within the region to understand their business objectives and help to translate these into marketing strategies, plans and activities
  • Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as directed by the Senior Regional Marketing Manager

Skills and Experience

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration specializing in marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process, project coordination and budgeting processes is preferred
  • Experience in a corporate writing environment considered an asset
  • Experience working in a professional services environment or marketing agency environment considered an asset
  • Possess strong presentation skills
  • Proven web-based research skills
  • Comfortable with using cloud based tools (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack)
  • Familiarity with email marketing best practices and systems (e.g. MailChimp and ContantContact)
  • Working knowledge of event registration systems (e.g. EventBright)
  • Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of how to build and reinforce effective working relationships within and across teams and with key stakeholders
  • Possess business development skills and knowledge
