Marketing Communications Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and the tactical execution of all marketing communications initiatives for Getinge Canada Ltd. Acute Care Therapies and Surgical Workflow divisions. Strategic business enabler to Marketing Management, Regional, Sales Management and Clinical personnel. The role will include responsibility for the implementation of marketing initiatives to support and drive the sales of all divisions.

The Position

This role is responsible for:

Enable the Director of Marketing to achieve the overall business plan objectives for Getinge Canada.

Manage all virtual and live tradeshows for the business including:

Registration

Development of planning committees

Execution of booth location, layout and equipment logistics

Work with exhibit companies and/or Regional Americas Marketing Teams regarding booth collateral displays and final product

Manage all invoices related to tradeshows

Maintenance of centralized tradeshow calendar

Ensure all customer-facing marketing collateral (literature, signage, documentation, tradeshow booths etc.) complies with current corporate visual identity guidelines.

Assist Product Managers with development or modification of sales, clinical, technical marketing collateral and maintain a central depository of current and archived sales & marketing documentation.

Order promotional materials as required.

Collaborate on internal communications strategic planning to include drafting of intranet article posts and email communications to all Getinge employees in North America.

Develop or leverage social media content; manage review, approvals, and go live posts

Develop and execute newsletters and communications projects.

Manage office functions.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing or management.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for the following experience, knowledge and abilities:

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is required

Experience working in downstream marketing and sales support.

Knowledge and/or experience in the hospital-based healthcare industry would be an asset.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literacy; familiarity with information technology concepts, personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications. Aptitude to learn digital platforms, such as Showpad, Media Hub, Hub Spot, APSIS and Falcon.

Demonstrates excellent consistent communication to all team members and management to ensure transparency and identification of business drivers and potential.

Ability to engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning.

Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of medical terminology, provincial funding knowledge by sector, and third party payer claims preferably in the Health Care market.

Results-driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in teams.

Domestic and International Travel may be required 10-15% of the time.

Must have a valid driver's license.
