Here's your chance to manage your own branch while growing and developing your own team as a Branch Manager with HUB.
What you'll be up to as our Branch Manager...
First things first, you'll take every opportunity to improve and maximize targets by developing annual business plans for all lines of business in the branch.
You'll have to monitor P&L statements and take appropriate action to meet targets.
By assessing the local market, you'll identify current and prospective opportunities to obtain new clients.
Client service is everything. You'll ensure an excellent and consistent client service experience.
You'll participate actively in both the business and industry communities to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the branch and organization.
Talent Management Responsibilities
You'll cultivate and promote a positive work environment that attracts, retains and motivates top talent.
This is your team
- own it! Support your employees to help them achieve their highest performance potential.
You're a mentor too. You'll provide and encourage opportunities for growth and development.
You'll need to plan for success by identifying and developing future leadership talent.
You know the drill. You'll manage all operational aspects of the branch and ensure the safekeeping of all company assets in the branch.
You'll ensure consistent and effective application of all corporate policies and procedures as they apply to the business or to the employees.
At the end of the day, we represent HUB. You'll need to ensure that you and your team understand and live up to our HUB values, mission and vision.
What you bring to the table...
Let's cut to the chase. You need to have your Level 2 General Insurance License. Bonus points if you already have or are actively pursuing a Level 3 License.
This isn't your first rodeo. You have industry experience, preferably a minimum of three years managing a department or branch.
You have the ability to work collaboratively with direct reports, colleagues and front-line employees to create a results driven and team oriented environment.
You have business acumen and a passion for managing a business and its financials at the operational branch level.
You're a people person. You have the knack for training, coaching and leading a team.
If you're fluent in speaking Mandarin or Cantonese
- that's a plus!
