Department Overview

At Motorola Solutions we are helping solve some of the biggest challenges around safety and physical security by developing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and products that are used to help keep people, businesses, and cities around the world safer. Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.

Job Description

The Video Solutions division of Motorola is seeking a social and self-motivated Community Manager. This is a full-time position that is responsible for the roll out and maintenance of the Avigilon line's customer-facing Online Community. This person will act as a facilitator between different departments to encourage online engagement with Avigilon's growing community. They are also responsible for engaging with customers queries, starting conversations and keeping our community alive. This person will work closely with the Knowledge Manager, Technical Support Leadership, and Customer Experience teams to shape the long-term vision and strategy of the Online Community.

Responsibilities include :

Act as product owner for the business requirements of the Online Community during its development stage

Represent the voice of Avigilon online and work with other teams to foster online engagement

Work with Partners and End Customers to understand their online needs and represent them in the Community roadmap

Establish an Advisory Councils to identify advocates for Avigilon and engage them internally within Avigilon and externally on the Customer Community

Stay well informed of trends with online communities & provide insight into how Avigilon can remain as a leading-edge manufacturer and software provider

Qualifications :

Experience with creating an online community or business

Analytical experience to gather key business and user insights

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic Requirements

University undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
