The Digital Marketing Strategist's primary responsibility is to oversee the digital marketing strategy, develop and manage digital marketing campaigns and projects to support MEDISCA expansion and growth based on customers’ behavior and defined KPI’s.

  • Digital Strategy and Campaign Management
    • Develop digital strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
    • Monitor online ads (PPC) and other digital advertisement resources
    • Oversee social media strategy, content and scheduling
    • Drive social media content direction based on analytics and marketing strategies
    • Oversee the development of e-mail blast campaigns based on the marketing strategy and direction
    • Execute marketing campaigns through on-line channels and social media
    • Ensure accuracy and consistency of content with corporate brand guidelines 
  • Web Development and Optimization
    • Manage web development process for all MEDISCA websites, liaison between Marketing and IT Departments
    • Oversee the planning and scheduling of all website redesigns and revisions
    • Responsible for improving the usability, design, content and conversion of all corporate websites
    • Propose revisions on digital channels based on performance analysis and optimization
    • Establish tactics on how to improve content delivery for each media channel
    • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations about elements and structure of websites and web pages
  • Analytics and Reporting
    • Provide insights on website performance and propose strategies accordingly
    • Analyze current and propose KPI’s based on industry trends and customers behavior
    • Present monthly reports on website performance, digital campaign results, online sales, ROI and customer behavior
    • Collaborate with other departments to provide the most useful insights and analytics to increase sales and develop market share
  • Trends and Best Practices
    • Review new technologies and keep MEDISCA at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
    • Keep up-to-date with web development, SEO and UX best practices and trends.
    • Monitor comments and conversations ensuring best practices are implemented

Travel: No travel required.


  • Five (5) to five (8) years’ experience in Digital Marketing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing preferred
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, W3C and UX best practices
  • Strong working knowledge of front-end Web Development and Responsive Web Design (HTML, CSS and jQuery)
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Google Tag Manager
  • Working experience with BI tools (Google Data Studio and Tableau preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office; specifically Microsoft Excel (knowledge of VBA is an asset)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is an asset
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to operate under pressure, meet tight deadlines and prioritize several projects simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent English and intermediate French (oral & written)
