Located in Montreal, Neotelis offers training services in the field of telecommunications and general management on the international stage, as well as consulting and information-based services. Since 1997, Neotelis has delivered training courses to clients from more than 125 countries around the world. We are seeking a dynamic bilingual Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Promotional activities

  • Develop and execute promotional activities, including designing/managing the design of promotional brochures, banners and other images required for promotions
  • Develop and execute email campaigns for annual calendar and public trainings
  • Develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new clients
  • Manage the entry of contacts received into CRM system
  • Track results of promotional campaigns

Web site

  • Add new offers and services to the website
  • Update website for promotional campaigns
  • Write copy for website
  • Update and maintain website – internal updates using content management system
  • Make recommendations about, organize and project manage updates to website with external vendor, maintain relationship with external vendor
  • Track website statistics and recommend changes to improve website and increase web traffic
  • Perform SEO

Media

  • Write and distribute press releases for Neotelis
  • Develop relationships with media

Pricing

  • In cooperation with Sales, define standard pricing for service offers
  • New service offers

Define new service offers

  • Identify new potential trainings
  • In coordination with Sales, prepare/project manage the preparation of the annual training calendar

Database

  • Organize and manage the adding/updating of contacts in the Neotelis database
  • Search for new sources of contacts to add to database

Social media

  • Plan social media strategy and tactics for Neotelis
  • Implement the strategy
  • Track results and recommend changes to improve social media presence

Research and write content for marketing initiatives

Work on other marketing and communications-related projects as required

PROFILE:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and communications
  • Experience in small business marketing and communications desirable
  • Experience in email marketing and social media marketing
  • Fluent in English and French, with excellent written communication in both languages
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Publisher and Access
  • Knowledge of: HTML, Google Analytics, graphics tools such as Paint.net or Photoshop, video and sound editing tools
