Kaycan Ltd., a leading manufacturer and distributor of building products in Canada, has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator . The role is responsible for developing creative and informative content for a variety of digital properties such as blogs, social media, press releases, video scripts, emails, and more.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with demonstrated knowledge and experience using social media and other marketing tools for business purposes. This person will also support external marketing and internal communication projects such as internal bulletins, blog posts, presentations and webinars.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the Kaycan Group of company internal marketing efforts
  • Create new content for Website Landing Pages
  • Manage website creation projects
  • Edit pictures/photo’s for use in marketing content
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion on the Internet
  • Write and edit content for a variety of digital mediums
  • Maintain Kaycan’s web presence
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team on campaigns and social strategies

Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual French and English (oral and writing)
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s, College Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Knowledge of using a Wordpress platform
  • Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator Applications and Microsoft Office including Outlook and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite and digital analytics (e.g. Google Analytics and Facebook Insights) a bonus
  • Knowledge of Photoshop (Asset)
  • Customer Service oriented
