DESCRIPTION

Our client, ROI Research on Investment, has established itself as an award-winning global authority on lead generation for economic development organizations and B2B companies. 

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales associate to work in it private sector lead generation team. In this position, you'll be speaking with top professionals in the corporate world and setting appointments for their clients. You’ll be learning about several industries and business sectors, improving your communication skills, and interacting with decision-makers in small, medium, and large enterprises.

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, you will work in an outbound sales position with base salary plus bonus. You will work on several mandates concurrently, including with clients in finance and banking, technology and software, business services, and other sectors.

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • Researching: You will target specific companies to gather market intelligence and contact information on behalf of our clients;
  • Prospecting: You will cold call and email prospects to develop relationships with business leaders, discussing how our clients can assist them with their growth and solving business challenges;
  • Qualifying: You will validate potential leads through phone discussions with C-level executives at companies in Europe and North America;
  • Connecting: Once qualified, you will organize appointments (conference calls and face-to-face meetings) between the prospect and our client’s sales team;
  • Validating: In addition to the verbal and written interactions with clients and prospects, you will also contribute to our lead generation efforts by adding, updating and validating information on a daily basis in our extensive, proprietary database.

EXPERTISE:

  • You are self-motivated and driven by the daily challenge of cold calling high-level business executives;
  • You are resourceful, persistent, intelligent and articulate;
  • You have excellent active listening skills and high emotional intelligence;
  • Have a strong understanding of business (economic or business related degree);
  • You have exceptionally strong computer skills and know how to find information online;
  • You can manage your time effectively, deliver consistent results, and conduct yourself in a professional manner;
  • Are able to absorb and retain new information quickly;
  • You speak and write fluently in English; fluency in French is also a strong asset;
  • You are proficient in other languages (an asset but not a prerequisite).
