Having been ranked as Canada’s top 100 Employers, and as Mercuriades Company of the year. We are seeking a responsible and energetic Tradeshow Coordinator. In this role, you will be directly responsible for working with the marketing team to coordinate and oversee international trade shows. Working closely with Sales Administrators and Graphic Designers, your responsibilities will range from inputting and tracking sales leads to assisting with the production of graphics and tracking literature needs. This is a wonderful new position with tremendous potential for professional and personal growth.
Our successful Tradeshow Coordinator candidate will have had prior tradeshow experience, is well organized and has excellent communication skills. The candidate will be:
· Responsible for planning and implementing events which include conferences, job fairs, training events, and trade shows. This entails assisting with contracting various trade show services and equipment. Handle all aspects of tabletop/smaller trade shows, as needed.
· Communicate all details and plans with internal and external customers.
· Coordinate with vendors all logistics for the events.
· Create exhibit overview prior to show.
· Coordinate post–show surveys
· Travel to events, as necessary.
· Negotiate contracts for services, approve suppliers' invoices, maintain financial records, review final billing submitted to clients for events and prepare reports.
Experience/Skills Required
· Experience coordinating tradeshows for telecommunications industry · Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications is required or related field. · Minimum of 2-5 years experience as a tradeshow coordinator · Prior tradeshow and event experience is required. · Solid communication and written skills. · Must be well organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively on a variety of marketing and sales programs. · Strong interpersonal skills, are self-motivated, flexible, assertive, and results-oriented. · Must be able to travel.
